Psalm 23 portrays care through images of a shepherd and a host without avoiding dark paths. Applying it to health seeks presence and provision, not a guarantee that every illness will heal as expected. Treatment has not brought quick improvement, and I do not want to blame anyone's faith. The speed of treatment is no measure of faith. Patience includes reporting symptoms and side effects honestly. Begin with a small concrete response today: Discuss progress with your clinician rather than stopping medication yourself. Feelings deserve acknowledgment, but they are not the whole story. Distinguish what happened, your interpretation, and what remains unknown.

Father, Treatment has not brought quick improvement, and I do not want to blame anyone's faith. Give me courage to face my feelings and patience to separate facts from assumptions. In Jesus' name, amen.
