Psalm 23 portrays care through images of a shepherd and a host without avoiding dark paths. Applying it to health seeks presence and provision, not a guarantee that every illness will heal as expected. Treatment has not brought quick improvement, and I do not want to blame anyone's faith. The speed of treatment is no measure of faith. Patience includes reporting symptoms and side effects honestly. Begin with a small concrete response today: Discuss progress with your clinician rather than stopping medication yourself. Responding to Scripture need not mean a grand decision. One achievable action today may be more honest than a vague promise to change.

Father, Treatment has not brought quick improvement, and I do not want to blame anyone's faith. Give me courage to do what I can today and grace to accept my limits. In Jesus' name, amen.
