所以你们既是 神的选民、圣洁蒙爱的人、就要存怜悯、恩慈、谦虚、温柔、忍耐的心。 倘若这人与那人有嫌隙、总要彼此包容、彼此饶恕．主怎样饶恕了你们、你们也要怎样饶恕人。 在这一切之外、要存着爱心．爱心就是联络全德的。 又要叫基督的平安在你们心里作主．你们也为此蒙召、归为一体．且要存感谢的心。 当用各样的智慧、把基督的道理、丰丰富富的存在心里、用诗章、颂词、灵歌、彼此教导、互相劝戒心被恩感歌颂 神。 无论作甚么、或说话、或行事、都要奉主耶稣的名、借着他感谢父 神。

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And what soever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

This passage in Colossians places compassion, humility, patience, forgiveness, and gratitude within shared life. Its workplace application asks how these qualities shape everyday interaction. I am considering my career direction and do not want income or approval to be my only guide. Vocation concerns how we treat people and use our gifts as well as identity and income. Begin with a small concrete response today: Write three vocational values and compare your options. Review is not a scorecard. Notice small changes, what still needs time, and where another person's company may help. Growth can be slow.
