My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. Proverbs 3 connects trust and humility with life's path. Wisdom literature shapes a direction for life rather than predicting that any particular choice will succeed. Prayer has not given me a clear answer, so I need wisdom and counsel as I proceed. Faithfulness can take small steps without a clear answer. Uncertainty does not mean God is absent. Begin with a small concrete response today: Choose a reversible small step and a time to reassess. Feelings deserve acknowledgment, but they are not the whole story. Distinguish what happened, your interpretation, and what remains unknown.

Father, Prayer has not given me a clear answer, so I need wisdom and counsel as I proceed. Give me courage to face my feelings and patience to separate facts from assumptions. In Jesus' name, amen.
