Isaiah 46 contrasts idols with God and emphasizes lasting care for God's people. Reflection on aging and caregiving should remember the passage's focus on continuing faithfulness. Growing older brings new limits, and I also see gifts in this season. Age brings limits and distinctive experience. Worth is not measured by daily productivity. Begin with a small concrete response today: Choose an activity suited to your strength and share one experience. Review is not a scorecard. Notice small changes, what still needs time, and where another person's company may help. Growth can be slow.
