English
Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, which are borne by me from the belly, which are carried from the womb: And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.

English
Isaiah 46 contrasts idols with God and emphasizes lasting care for God's people. Reflection on aging and caregiving should remember the passage's focus on continuing faithfulness. Looking back on my life brings both gratitude and regret, and I want to tell my story honestly. Looking back can hold grace and regret together. An honest life story need not contain only success. Begin with a small concrete response today: Write one gratitude, one regret, and one blessing you hope to leave. Review is not a scorecard. Notice small changes, what still needs time, and where another person's company may help. Growth can be slow.
