Father, My child is starting school and letting go feels hard. Be with me here and help me bring my feelings honestly before you. A child's growth teaches parents too. Encouragement can coexist with sadness at separation. Give me wisdom and courage to respond today: Ask what your child anticipates and fears most. While the outcome is uncertain, help me fulfill my responsibilities patiently and receive support from trustworthy people. Let my words and actions show love as I entrust what I cannot control to you. In Jesus' name, amen.
