And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

Deuteronomy 6 addresses Israel about loving God and bringing teaching into daily life. Parenting application can begin with routines and conversation rather than treating faith as a knowledge exam. My child is starting school and letting go feels hard. A child's growth teaches parents too. Encouragement can coexist with sadness at separation. Begin with a small concrete response today: Ask what your child anticipates and fears most. Responding to Scripture need not mean a grand decision. One achievable action today may be more honest than a vague promise to change.
