Deuteronomy 6 addresses Israel about loving God and bringing teaching into daily life. Parenting application can begin with routines and conversation rather than treating faith as a knowledge exam. My child failed an exam and I do not know how to comfort them. A child needs love before lessons after a setback. A grade cannot represent the whole person. Begin with a small concrete response today: Offer comfort first, then discuss the next step. Prayer does not require a performance of calm. Name gratitude, fear, questions, and hope in turn, and leave room for silence.
