Deuteronomy 6 addresses Israel about loving God and bringing teaching into daily life. Parenting application can begin with routines and conversation rather than treating faith as a knowledge exam. I want to read Scripture with my child without overwhelming them. Reading need not become a lecture. Questions let children learn to observe for themselves. Begin with a small concrete response today: Read a short passage and ask what the child notices. Review is not a scorecard. Notice small changes, what still needs time, and where another person's company may help. Growth can be slow.
