Father, After retirement I no longer hurry to work and wonder what use I still have. Help me see my needs and responsibilities through your word. God's lasting faithfulness is not conditional on a job title. New rhythms can grow slowly; worth does not end with a role. Give me courage to respond: Plan one restful activity, one contact, and one voluntary contribution. Help me trust where things remain uncertain and receive fitting company. In Jesus' name, amen.
