In Philippians, Paul encourages prayer, requests, and thanksgiving, alongside attention to what is worthy of thought. This does not guarantee that stress instantly disappears; it invites turning toward God amid worry. My message has not been answered, and I wonder whether the other person is upset. Silence leaves much unknown. Prayer makes room for unease while helping me recognize a guess as a guess. A small step today: Put the phone down for half an hour; if a reply is needed, explain the matter and timeframe clearly. My situation also involves other people. Consider who needs to be heard, who can offer support, and which boundaries deserve respect.
