Psalm 13 moves from cries during prolonged waiting toward trust in God's mercy. Lament and trust belong in the same psalm; grief need not be hidden before praying. While sorting a loved one's belongings, small objects bring back memories. Lament allows reluctance to let go. Sorting has no universal deadline; keeping or releasing an object does not measure love. A small step today: Sort one small box today and stop when tired. Review is not a scorecard. Notice small changes, what still needs time, and where another person's company may help. Growth can be slow.
