Wherewith shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old? Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? Micah 6 asks how people approach God, then turns to justice, mercy, and humble walking. Devotion includes how neighbors are treated, alongside religious practice. During a relief activity I want to post photos without asking those receiving help. Mercy protects dignity and privacy. Recording service does not require displaying another person's hardship. A small step today: Follow the activity's privacy arrangements and share your learning rather than identifiable details. Feelings deserve acknowledgment, but they are not the whole story. Distinguish what happened, your interpretation, and what remains unknown.
