Deuteronomy 6 addresses Israel about loving God and bringing teaching into daily life. Parenting application can begin with routines and conversation rather than treating faith as a knowledge exam. I misunderstood my child and struggle to admit it after learning the facts. A parent's example includes admitting error. An apology shows that responsibility and respect also apply to adults. A small step today: Explain what you misunderstood, apologize, and listen to your child's response. Responding to Scripture need not mean a grand decision. One achievable action today may be more honest than a vague promise to change.
