English
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

English
James 1 invites those lacking wisdom to ask God in the context of trials. Wisdom includes responsible action amid difficulty as well as information. I missed part of a lesson but fear a question will make me look foolish. Seeking wisdom begins with admitting a lack. A clear question supports learning better than pretending to understand. A small step today: Write down the exact step that is unclear and ask a teacher or classmate. Review is not a scorecard. Notice small changes, what still needs time, and where another person's company may help. Growth can be slow.
