English
A Psalm of praise. Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

English
Psalm 100 invites communal worship with thanksgiving, remembering goodness, mercy, and faithfulness. Daily application makes gratitude an attentive response without ignoring difficulty. Washing dishes, I notice many forms of help I had taken for granted. Thanks can begin with specific people and provision. Worship enters ordinary life without waiting for a special feeling. A small step today: Name three provisions today and thank one person who helped. Prayer does not require a performance of calm. Name gratitude, fear, questions, and hope in turn, and leave room for silence.

Father, Washing dishes, I notice many forms of help I had taken for granted. I come in my own words; even when they are unfinished, hear me. In Jesus' name, amen.
