Begin with what actually happened and distinguish your responsibilities. A faithful response can unfold through honest words and a concrete action. A practice for today: With the person's agreement, keep necessary notes as the care team recommends. Do not rush to solve the whole situation. Notice your body, surroundings, and inner voice, and bring your present need before God.
