Begin with what actually happened and distinguish your responsibilities. A faithful response can unfold through honest words and a concrete action. A practice for today: Confirm the clinical contact and arrange rest and one family update contact. Responding to Scripture need not mean a grand decision. One achievable action today may be more honest than a vague promise to change.
