Deuteronomy 6 addresses Israel about loving God and bringing teaching into daily life. Parenting application can begin with routines and conversation rather than treating faith as a knowledge exam. A child hears adults argue but never sees the later repair. Begin with what actually happened and distinguish your responsibilities. A faithful response can unfold through honest words and a concrete action. A practice for today: Explain an appropriate part of the repair and reassure the child it was not their responsibility. Prayer does not require a performance of calm. Name gratitude, fear, questions, and hope in turn, and leave room for silence.
