English
A Psalm of praise. Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

English
Psalm 100 invites communal worship with thanksgiving, remembering goodness, mercy, and faithfulness. Daily application makes gratitude an attentive response without ignoring difficulty. I often get distracted in worship and do not want to pretend otherwise. Distraction can be acknowledged honestly. Returning to God does not require perfect concentration. Begin with a small concrete response today: Take one quiet minute and return attention to the passage. Do not rush to solve the whole situation. Notice your body, surroundings, and inner voice, and bring your present need before God.

Father, I often get distracted in worship and do not want to pretend otherwise. Help me slow down and see this moment honestly without rushing to a verdict about myself. In Jesus' name, amen.
