Father, I want to read Scripture with my child without overwhelming them. Be with me here and help me bring my feelings honestly before you. Reading need not become a lecture. Questions let children learn to observe for themselves. Give me wisdom and courage to respond today: Read a short passage and ask what the child notices. While the outcome is uncertain, help me fulfill my responsibilities patiently and receive support from trustworthy people. Let my words and actions show love as I entrust what I cannot control to you. In Jesus' name, amen.
