Deuteronomy 6 addresses Israel about loving God and bringing teaching into daily life. Parenting application can begin with routines and conversation rather than treating faith as a knowledge exam. My child is grown and I still want to plan each step. Love for an adult child learns invitation rather than direction. Stay connected and honor their responsibility. Begin with a small concrete response today: Ask whether advice would be welcome and respect the answer. Prayer does not require a performance of calm. Name gratitude, fear, questions, and hope in turn, and leave room for silence.
