And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

Deuteronomy 6 addresses Israel about loving God and bringing teaching into daily life. Parenting application can begin with routines and conversation rather than treating faith as a knowledge exam. My child is grown and I still want to plan each step. Love for an adult child learns invitation rather than direction. Stay connected and honor their responsibility. Begin with a small concrete response today: Ask whether advice would be welcome and respect the answer. Review is not a scorecard. Notice small changes, what still needs time, and where another person's company may help. Growth can be slow.
