你们中间若有缺少智慧的、应当求那厚赐与众人、也不斥责人的 神、主就必赐给他。 只要凭着信心求、一点不疑惑．因为那疑惑的人、就像海中的波浪、被风吹动翻腾。 这样的人、不要想从主那里得甚么． 心怀二意的人、在他一切所行的路上、都没有定见。

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

James 1 invites those lacking wisdom to ask God in the context of trials. Wisdom includes responsible action amid difficulty as well as information. Campus is busy but I have no one to talk to. Belonging may begin with a small greeting. You need not perform sociability to be known. Begin with a small concrete response today: Join an interest activity and greet one person.

Father, Campus is busy but I have no one to talk to. Be with me here and help me bring my feelings honestly before you. Belonging may begin with a small greeting. You need not perform sociability to be known. Give me wisdom and courage to respond today: Join an interest activity and greet one person. While the outcome is uncertain, help me fulfill my responsibilities patiently and receive support from trustworthy people. Let my words and actions show love as I entrust what I cannot control to you. In Jesus' name, amen.
