James 1 invites those lacking wisdom to ask God in the context of trials. Wisdom includes responsible action amid difficulty as well as information. I want a shortcut for coursework but feel uneasy. Honesty brings learning back to real abilities and needs. Admitting confusion supports growth. Begin with a small concrete response today: Complete one section yourself and ask about a difficulty. Review is not a scorecard. Notice small changes, what still needs time, and where another person's company may help. Growth can be slow.
