Isaiah 46 contrasts idols with God and emphasizes lasting care for God's people. Reflection on aging and caregiving should remember the passage's focus on continuing faithfulness. I want to share experience with younger people but fear merely repeating old stories. Remembrance can invite rather than demand the same path. Stories can include regret and continuing learning. A small step today: Share one decision and its lesson, then ask what the other person is facing. Review is not a scorecard. Notice small changes, what still needs time, and where another person's company may help. Growth can be slow.
