English
Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, which are borne by me from the belly, which are carried from the womb: And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.
Reflecting in daily life · Devotional interpretation
English
Isaiah 46 contrasts idols with God and emphasizes lasting care for God's people. Reflection on aging and caregiving should remember the passage's focus on continuing faithfulness. With less energy, I measure my worth by how much I accomplish. Begin with what actually happened and distinguish your responsibilities. A faithful response can unfold through honest words and a concrete action. A practice for today: Name one kind of company you can offer and one form of care you can receive. Review is not a scorecard. Notice small changes, what still needs time, and where another person's company may help. Growth can be slow.

English
As I reflect on “Worth beyond output”: What changed this week, and whose support do I need next?
One small step today
English
Write down one change and one area where you still need help.
