Two opportunities have strengths, and I keep waiting for a regret-free answer. Begin with what actually happened and distinguish your responsibilities. A faithful response can unfold through honest words and a concrete action. A practice for today: List responsibilities, known facts, and costs, then set a reasonable decision deadline. My situation also involves other people. Consider who needs to be heard, who can offer support, and which boundaries deserve respect.
