Deuteronomy 6 addresses Israel about loving God and bringing teaching into daily life. Parenting application can begin with routines and conversation rather than treating faith as a knowledge exam. As soon as my child returns, I question grades and tasks. Begin with what actually happened and distinguish your responsibilities. A faithful response can unfold through honest words and a concrete action. A practice for today: Ask about the day first and agree to discuss homework arrangements later. Feelings deserve acknowledgment, but they are not the whole story. Distinguish what happened, your interpretation, and what remains unknown.
