This conversation in Mark concerns the disciples' desire for status. Jesus redefines greatness through service and illustrates the path through his own mission. While sharing a service story I nearly reveal details without consent. Begin with what actually happened and distinguish your responsibilities. A faithful response can unfold through honest words and a concrete action. A practice for today: Remove identifying private information and obtain clear consent before sharing. My situation also involves other people. Consider who needs to be heard, who can offer support, and which boundaries deserve respect.
