English
Here are 9 memory methods, 12 memory plans and a practice tool: choose a passage and practise it by reading aloud, with first-letter cues, with blanks, and by writing it out. Once you know it, you are reminded to review on day 1, 2, 4, 7, 14 and 30. Use it alone or with your group.
开始之前Before you start
为什么背经、怎样开始Why memorise Scripture, and how to begin
为什么背经Why memorise
我将你的话藏在心里、免得我得罪你。
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
- 在试探中站立得住:主耶稣在旷野三次用经文回应试探。Stand firm in temptation: in the wilderness Jesus answered each temptation with Scripture. 马太福音 4:1–11Matthew 4:1–11
- 忧虑、惧怕来临时,背过的经文会自己浮现,成为随时的安慰和方向。When worry or fear comes, the verses you know rise to mind with comfort and direction. 腓立比书 4:6–7Philippians 4:6–7
- 背过的经文随时可以拿来鼓励人、安慰人,也能用来祷告和传福音。Verses you know are ready to encourage and comfort others, to pray, and to share the gospel. 歌罗西书 3:16Colossians 3:16
怎样开始:四步How to begin: four steps
- 选一个计划,或先从一节短经文开始。Choose a plan, or start with one short verse.
- 每天 5–15 分钟,用下面的方法练习。Practise 5–15 minutes a day with the methods below.
- 背会后按「我背会了」,到期时按时复习。When you know it, tap “I've got it”, then review when it is due.
- 找一位伙伴,每周互相背一次。Find a partner and recite to each other once a week.
复习节奏:背会后第 1、2、4、7、14、30 天,之后每月一次。 · Review rhythm: day 1, 2, 4, 7, 14, 30 after you learn it, then monthly.
9 种背经方法9 memory methods
首字提示法First-letter cues
只看每个分句的第一个字(英文看每个词的首字母)来背,大脑会自动补出后面的字,比盯着全文更快离开课本。
- 先完整读三遍,确认明白意思。
- 每个分句只留第一个字,例如“耶……我……”。
- 看着提示背出整节,卡住时才看原文。
- 能流利背出后,把提示也拿掉。
English
Recite from only the first character of each clause (in English, the first letter of each word). Your memory fills in the rest, so you let go of the full text sooner.
- Read the whole verse three times and make sure you understand it.
- Keep only the first letter of each word, e.g. “T L i m s; I s n w.”
- Recite the whole verse from the cues; look at the text only when you are stuck.
- Once it flows, take the cues away too.
分段累加法Build phrase by phrase
把经文切成几个短句,先背第一句,再加上第二句从头背,一句一句像滚雪球一样累加。
- 按标点把经文分成 3–5 个短句。
- 背第 1 句,直到不看也能说出来。
- 加上第 2 句,每次都从第 1 句开始背。
- 最后连经文出处一起背,例如“诗篇 23:1”。
English
Split the verse into short phrases. Learn the first, then add the second and start again from the top, snowballing phrase by phrase.
- Break the verse into 3–5 phrases at the punctuation.
- Say phrase 1 until you can do it without looking.
- Add phrase 2, always starting again from phrase 1.
- Finish by saying the reference too, e.g. “Psalm 23:1.”
抄写法Copy by hand
手写会放慢速度,让眼、手、心一起记。每抄一遍,都比上一遍少看一次原文。
- 准备纸笔,第一遍看着抄。
- 第二遍读一句、盖住、再写。
- 第三遍完全不看,写完再对照改正。
- 把写错的字圈出来,下次先练它们。
English
Writing by hand slows you down so that eyes, hand and heart remember together. Each time you copy, look at the text less than before.
- Take paper and pen and copy the verse while looking.
- Second time: read a phrase, cover it, then write it.
- Third time: write without looking, then compare and correct.
- Circle the words you got wrong and practise those first next time.
间隔复习Spaced repetition
刚背会的经文很快会忘;在快要忘记时复习,记忆会一次比一次牢。本页在背会后的第 1、2、4、7、14、30 天提醒你复习。
- 背会当天按「我背会了」,这天算第 0 天。
- 在第 1、2、4、7、14、30 天各复习一次,每次 1–2 分钟。
- 忘了也没关系:按「忘了」,这一节从明天重新开始。
- 第 30 天之后,每月温习一次。
English
A newly learned verse fades quickly; reviewing just before you forget makes it stronger each time. This page reminds you on day 1, 2, 4, 7, 14 and 30 after you learn it.
- On the day you learn it, tap “I've got it”; that is day 0.
- Review once on day 1, 2, 4, 7, 14 and 30, one or two minutes each time.
- Forgetting is normal: tap “Forgot” and that verse starts again tomorrow.
- After day 30, review it once a month.
卡片法Memory cards
一面写经文出处和主题,一面写全文。随身带着,排队、等车时拿出来翻一翻。
- 正面写出处与主题,例如“约翰福音 3:16 · 神的爱”。
- 背面写全文,难记的字用颜色标出来。
- 看正面背出背面,再翻过来检查。
- 背熟的卡片放后面,还不熟的放前面。
English
Put the reference and a theme on one side and the full text on the other. Carry the cards and flip through them while you wait in line or for the bus.
- Front: the reference and a theme, e.g. “John 3:16 · God's love.”
- Back: the full text, with the hard words marked in colour.
- Look at the front, recite the back, then turn it over to check.
- Move the cards you know to the back and the shaky ones to the front.
朗读与配乐Read aloud and sing
出声读,或配上简单的旋律、节奏,让耳朵也参与记忆。许多人小时候唱过的经文诗歌,一辈子都记得。
- 慢慢大声读 3 遍,注意停顿。
- 录下自己朗读的声音,通勤时听。
- 试着配上熟悉的旋律或拍手的节奏。
- 先边听边跟读,最后不看文字跟读。
English
Say it out loud, or set it to a simple tune or rhythm, so your ears help you remember. Many people still know the Scripture songs they sang as children.
- Read it slowly aloud three times, noticing the pauses.
- Record yourself reading it and listen on your commute.
- Try fitting it to a familiar tune or a clapping rhythm.
- Read along while listening, then say it without the text.
填空默写Fill in the blanks
把经文遮住一部分(约四成),靠记忆补回来;一轮一轮换空白,最后整节默写出来。
- 先在心里补出空白处,再点开核对。
- 每轮换一批空白,直到每个字都练过。
- 最后在「默写检查」里整节打出来。
- 错的地方单独再练一次。
English
Hide part of the verse (about 40%) and fill it in from memory. Change the blanks each round, then write out the whole verse.
- Fill in each blank in your head, then tap it to check.
- Change the blanks each round until every word has been practised.
- Finally, type the whole verse in “Write & check.”
- Practise the mistakes once more on their own.
与生活连接Connect to life
问自己:这节经文和我今天有什么关系?把它和一个具体的场景连起来,需要的时候,它会自己浮现出来。
- 用自己的一句话写下经文的意思。
- 想一个会用到它的场景:焦虑、试探、感恩或安慰人。
- 把经文变成一句祷告。
- 今天找机会把它说给一个人听。
English
Ask: what does this verse have to do with my day? Tie it to a concrete situation and it will come back to you when you need it.
- Write the meaning in one sentence of your own.
- Picture a moment you will need it: worry, temptation, thanks or comforting someone.
- Turn the verse into a one-line prayer.
- Find a chance to share it with someone today.
小组互背Recite with a partner
两人一组或在小组里互相背诵、互相提示,彼此鼓励。每周约定一次,比一个人背更容易坚持。
- 每周约定同一段经文。
- 一人背,一人看着经文提示,然后交换。
- 只提示第一个字,不要直接说出答案。
- 背完分享这节经文本周怎样帮助了自己,再彼此代祷。
English
Pair up or recite in your group, prompting and encouraging each other. A weekly check-in is easier to keep than going it alone.
- Agree on the same passage each week.
- One recites while the other follows the text and gives cues; then swap.
- Hint with the first word only, not the whole answer.
- Afterwards, share how the verse helped you this week and pray for each other.
背经计划Memory plans
12 套计划:选一个开始12 plans: pick one to start
每套计划写明适合谁、建议节奏和推荐方法。小组可以一起选同一套,每周互背。

从这份示范学到的What this example teaches
- 每天 5–15 分钟就够,重要的是天天做。Five to fifteen minutes a day is enough; what matters is doing it daily.
- 先懂意思再背;常错的地方,往往是还没理解的地方。Understand before you memorise; the places you slip are often the places you have not yet understood.
- 按间隔复习,比一口气背很多遍更牢。Spaced reviews stick better than many repetitions in one sitting.
- 中断了就接着来,只重背忘掉的那一段。When you miss days, pick up where you are and redo only what you forgot.
- 找一位伙伴,背经会成为彼此的祝福。Find a partner: memorising becomes a blessing you share.
